This trip takes you on an incredible journey across Cambodia, giving you a chance to experience the magic of South East Asia while taking part in an exciting sports volunteering program to make a difference in the lives of disadvantaged children.
You will be supporting our local partners to achieve their goal of providing much needed physical activity and learning to local children who are at risk. You will help these kids develop valuable life skills through your role as a sports and physical education facilitator. Bring fun to the daily lives of these children and get involved in sports coaching, games and activities, and health education initiatives. You could also have the opportunity to get hands on and help to refurbish the learning centres or sports fields. This 3 week experience promises to be life changing, you might think you are going there to teach, but you’ll find you will learn just as much!

Travel and arrive into Siem Reap airport where you will be met by one of our in-country team and transferred to Battambang for a welcome meal. You will then be given a couple of days of orientation and induction to prepare you for your project and acclimate you to Battambang and Khmer culture.
You will be involved in running daily sports clubs with the children, and will also have the chance to teach them about healthy lifestyles, fitness, a balanced diet and the dangers of drug use. You could also spend time on construction projects, building and developing sports fields, or helping to improve other construction projects.
By volunteering on this programme you will play a mentor role, supporting the children to develop their self-confidence, improve their English and most of all have fun!
During the weekends you are free to explore Battambang and the surrounding area, or to travel further afield to visit Siem Reap and Angkor Wat!
Travel home or make your way to Koh Samui for your unforgettable extension trip!
After arriving in Koh Samui you will be able to fully experience the famous Thai hospitality. Enjoy relaxing on the beach, exploring surrounding islands, and discovering the amazing wildlife including gibbons and monkeys. You can also choose to defer you flight and travel independently.
